“A fantastic experience from start to finish”
Mimeos submitted the LADWP rebate application, designed the layout for the panels and installed 20 Sanyo 215N panels and a SMA SB4000 US (240 volt) inverter. 

We initially signed a contract with another company, Solar Electrical Systems, in early October, 2009. We were very disappointed when they could not implement their initial design, and also by their lack of responsiveness (weeks would go by without a return phone call or email.) Thankfully, they let us terminate the contract and gave us our deposit back with no hassle. We met Matt Moses from Mimeos at a neighborhood potluck when we were still trying to work with Solar Electric and learned that he was installing panels for someone else in the neighborhood. When things fell through with Solar Electric, we gave Matt a call to see what he could do. It was already late November, and we wanted to get the panels in by the end of the year to take advantage of the Federal Tax credit for 2009. Working with Matt and Dane at Mimeos was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We felt like our project was their number one priority. We were constantly amazed, particularly after our previous experience, with how timely, informative, and excited they both were about the design, installation, and follow up. They were always looking for the best deal for us, when it came not only to saving money, but also to finding the most efficient system. Matt and Dane stepped in and got the job done in just a few weeks, and they were professional and kind throughout the entire process. They are passionate about all aspects of sustainability, and we are so pleased to have them as partners and friends in our own efforts to make our home more green. 

We should mention too that we had a solar pool system already installed where the solar electric system needed to go. Matt recommended Todd Franzen from Todd Solar Engineering, and within days and with little expense, the pool system was relocated.

Matt and his crew were such a pleasure to deal with. I met with two other solar companies and these guys gave me the best bid. Besides that they were prompt, charming, and delivered when they said that they were gonna deliver. I tried to work with another solar company a few years ago, but they were such flakes that I was turned off from the whole process. These guys took care of bizness and put in 14 state of the art solar panels in a day and a half. They had excellent communication and follow up—and walked me through the rebate process with ease. “We made the right decision in hiring Mimeos”
We hired Mimeos as consultants for installing solar panels on our roof last year. We were very happy with the extremely high quality of service we received. All our questions were answered; phone calls and emails were always quickly responded to. Everything was very clearly and patiently explained to us throughout the whole process, and we always felt free to ask as many questions as we wanted.
Not only was the whole installation process clearly explained, but the rebate and permit process/paperwork was completely taken care of, too. It was very important to us to have that part handled by someone who had the knowledge to make it happen efficiently and correctly, as we simply don’t have the time ourselves. We got the rebate check within the time frame given by Mimeos.
So far, so good, with the system; our electricity bills are slashed just as we expected, and we have experienced no problems with the system. Mimeos provided us with a large folder containing all the relevant paperwork for our system, and an open invitation to contact them with any questions or concerns. We really feel like we made the right decision in hiring Mimeos.
One of the many nice things about this company is the ongoing communication; for example, just this week we received an update from them about a federal rebate program for new energy efficient appliances. I feel that I can ask Mimeos for expert guidance on how to negotiate this process, when we decide to upgrade our washing machine.
